PROPOSED BOOKS AND MEETING SCHEDULE FOR 2013-14

 

Come and join the CF Book Club during the 2013-14 academic year as we explore seven works of literature. Below is the reading list and meeting schedule:

 

SEPTEMBER 27 : Heidegger and a Hippo Walk Through Those Pearly Gates by Daniel Klein – Discussion Leader: Ron Cooper

 

OCTOBER 25: Doubt by John Patrick Shanley – The film based on the play will be shown Tuesday, Oct. 29, as part of the International Film Series – Discussion Leader: Joe Zimmerman

 

NOVEMBER 22: Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls by David Sadaris – Discussion Leader ?

 

FEBRUARY 7: Here, Bullet by Brian Turner (Debra Vazquez Memorial Poetry series speaker on campus Feb. 6-7) – Discussion Leader: Sandra Cooper

 

MARCH 7: Life of Pi by Yann Mantel – Discussion Leader ?

 

APRIL 4: Flight Behavior by Barbara Kingsolver – Discussion Leader ?
